Regular Membership + Spousal Overview

• There are to be no age categories of regular members. Seniors, adult men, adult ladies and intermediate players are all to be under the same membership category, called Regular Founding Members. These members are regular in the fact that they are not Corporate Members.
• All potential members must fill out the Smuggler's Glen membership application and thereby be approved as Founding Members.
• The current Membership Initiation Entrance fee of $14,500 plus GST is to be paid in full without terms offered.
• The current 2008 dues will be $1722 +tax (Smuggler's Glen Golf Course reserves the right to increase these prices commensurate with cost of living increases as decided by the owner.
• All Founding Members are required to pay the food and beverage minimum chit pre-payment plan (currently $275 for the 2008 season)
• Regular Members have unlimited playing privileges throughout the golf season.
• Regular Members are encouraged to play in the member day events (men's day and ladies day events) and the club championships. Regular Members will have access to play in OGA and RCGA golf tournaments. The course has a GAO OGIN Handicap software system in place for your use.
• Regular Founding Members have the privilege of attaching a spouse to their base membership at any time in the future. The Regular Founding Member is required to pay an additional half price Entrance Fee and half price yearly dues.
• All regular members are entitled to attach junior/intermediate children to their base membership. Please see the following page on Junior/Intermediate policies.

Booking Privileges

• All Founding Members have 7-day advance booking privileges. The general public players are offered 5-day advance booking.
• All classes of members will be provided with blocked tee times on weekend mornings to guarantee members access to one weekend morning round per week. Smuggler's Glen Golf Course will guarantee members one weekend prime tee time (Defined as weekend and holiday mornings before 12:00a.m.) but not both Saturday and Sunday mornings.
• Members have the privilege of purchasing member guest green fees at 20% discount on the regular price. Members can introduce up to a maximum of 3 guests at the discount rate per golfing day.
  
  

Junior/ Intermediate Memberships

Regular Founding Members can attach their children as Junior Members to their base membership.

Junior Memberships are not offered to juniors without members as parents.

Founding members can attach Junior/Intermediate children to their base membership at any time in the future (until their son or daughter has turned 24 years old).

Booking Privileges

• Junior/Intermediate members do not have access to the weekend morning blocked tee times for members. Junior members can play during prime time (Friday after 12:00 noon , Saturday and Sunday + Holiday mornings before 12:00 noon ) with the accompany and booking made by their Parent Founding Member.
• Junior/Intermediate Members can play during prime time weekend morning's with the walk on same day policy. If a time is available they may be accommodated. (pending approval of the juniors pace of play and skill level by Head Professional, Doug Wark)
• Junior/Intermediate members are prohibited from making tee times for themselves on weekend prime mornings.
• Juniors/Intermediates can play with their parent(s) during weekend mornings once they prove their golf skills, etiquette and speed of play to Head Professional Doug Wark. As a guideline it is recommended the juniors be 12 years old and above in order to play on weekend prime time.
• Junior/Intermediate members can make bookings to play with other juniors and friends (non-prime) using the 7-day advance booking member privilege.

Junior Golfer (As defined for RCGA and OGA competitive events)

"A junior golfer has not achieved his/her 19 th birthday as of April 1. "

Founding Members Entrance Fees
Golf entrance fees are non-refundable

• Annual dues will be adjusted thereafter the year 2007 based on Consumer Price Index(CPI)
• Initiation fees are to be paid in one payment without terms (favorable terms offered at most financial institutions).
